IYoung Social, is an innovative social platform to connect students, entrepreneurs, industrialists, SME owners, policy makers, white-collar employees and people across the workforce. In order to ensure that our platform remains a safe and enriching space for all our users, we have curated the following Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”). Users are required to follow these Guidelines along with our Terms and Conditions. These Guidelines have been framed with due regard to everyone’s right of privacy, free speech and expression. The Guidelines are not intended to serve as restrictions on users but are there to safeguard everyone’s rights and ensure that everyone has a positive and legally sound experience.:

At the outset, as a rule please do not post any content that you wouldn’t tolerate yourself and that which would not like posted about you. Every user of IYoung Social should feel like their voice can be heard, but not at the expense of someone else. The community guidelines are enlisted below and specify actions and behaviours that are prohibited on IYoung Social. Any violation of these guidelines can result in disciplinary action against you including takedown of your violative content, suspension/termination of your account, reporting to the police etc.
Being a social platform, free speech, healthy debate, discussions and dialogue with respect are welcome. However, we do not allow any form of hateful, maligning, damaging and insulting speech towards any other user(s). This includes posts, direct messages and any other form of communication on the platform. Examples of hate speech include racial discrimination, caste-based discrimination, gender discrimination, encouragement or insinuation of violence, disparaging someone on basis of sexual orientation, religious beliefs, medical conditions, nationality etc. Furthermore, users must not post any defamatory or libelous content on the platform.
Any bigotry, untoward, demeaning, disrespectful, insulting or malicious comment towards any individual or group’s religious beliefs will not be tolerated. This includes any attempts to incite communal violence and hatred.
Uses are prohibited from promoting, threatening or facilitating any activity pertaining to terrorism, violence, communal hatred, sedition, threatening the unity, integrity, defense, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign nations or insulting another nation. Furthermore, the posting of any content furthering, insinuating, inducing and/or covering any illegal acts including any of the crimes listed under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and applicable law such as theft, fraud, kidnapping, vandalism, mental & physical cruelty, etc. is explicitly forbidden. This also includes indirect threats, as well as sharing or threatening to share someone’s private personal information (also known as doxing).
Users are prohibited from posting content which is excessively gory, violent, obscene, sexually graphic and/or inappropriate for the other users. This includes pornographic, paedophilic, sexually violent acts such as rape and assault, gratuitous gore including bestiality, animal torture or killing, cannibalism, dismembering of human bodies, any content covering self-harm etc. Any users found posting content of this nature will be immediately reported to the authorities.
Any statements or content that are also likely to be construed as sexual harassment by other users are prohibited in totality. Any explicit images or videos of another person posted without their consent shall be taken down immediately.
IYoung Social has a zero-tolerance policy for content depicting sexual content involving children in any form or fashion. Any content that shows visuals depictions of children engaging in sexually explicit or suggestive acts or any illustrated, computer-generated or digitally synthesized depiction of such child sexual content or sexualised commentaries and text directed towards minors or the sharing of any links to third-party sites that host such material is strictly prohibited. Any users found posting content of this nature will be immediately reported to the authorities.
The posting of any content that is illegal or encourages other persons to participate in illegal activity under any law in force is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to selling, buying or facilitating transactions in illegal goods and services such as drugs, narcotics and controlled substances, stolen goods, counterfeit goods, weapons and ammunition, engaging in money laundering, prostitution, human or child trafficking etc.
Users are expected to comply with all applicable laws while posting any content including privacy laws, intellectual property laws, anti-spam laws, cyber laws, tax laws, anti-money laundering laws, e-commerce regulations, general regulatory requirements etc.
Users shall be respectful of the right to privacy of every other user and group on IYoung Social. Users shall refrain from sharing of any personal information belonging to another user without their express written authorization. We also prohibit any threats of exposing private information or incentivizing others to do so, whether for ransom or otherwise. Sharing of information such as home address, physical location, identity documents, contact information, financial information biometric data, medical records of another without their permission is not permitted.
We do not allow users to not engage in any sort of impersonation. This includes the creation of fake profiles, using the image of someone else for your profile photo, associating yourself with an organization you are not actually associated with, creating a profile on behest of someone else without their permission, wrongfully accessing and using someone else’s profile etc. Engaging in or encouraging others to engage in impersonation is a serious offence and shall be reported to the authorities immediately.
Users are restricted from using IYoung Social’s services in a manner intended to artificially amplify or suppress information including commercially motivated spam, inauthentic engagements, coordinated activity to artificially influence discourse (such as the use of fake accounts, bots etc.), coordinated campaigns encouraging violent, intolerable, illegal and unacceptable behaviour as previously described in these guidelines.
You may not promote, distribute, or provide access to content involving the hacking, cracking, or distribution of pirated software or stolen accounts. You are also restricted from artificially amplifying or disrupting conversations through the use and/or co-ordination of multiple accounts and artificially inflating your own or others’ followers or engagement through any means whatsoever. You cannot use this platform to control prices or publish information intended to manipulate other users for your own financial gain in any form or fashion.
We encourage users to not share information that is unverified, false or misleading but may be perceived as factual. This includes posting any manipulated media such as doctored videos, photoshopped images, deepfakes etc. Do not post that which you know to be or think might me misleading, false and result in any harm caused and do not encourage or facilitate others in doing the same.
Users shall not partake in any activity that is fraudulent, misleading and/or results in the perpetration of any scam. Deliberate misrepresentation in any form is not tolerated at all. Furthermore, any activity on the platform that furthers, facilitates or results in the spreading of any virus, malicious programme, code or file that causes any disruption, harm, loss or any inconvenience to the functioning of the platform or any user damage to any user is strictly prohibited. Any user found responsible for the same shall immediately be reported to the authorities and shall have irrevocably have his/her account permanently terminated. Furthermore, phishing is strictly forbidden, and any such activity will be immediately reported to the authorities and strictly dealt with.
You may not use IYoung Social’s services for the purposes of manipulating or interfering in political elections, censuses, major referenda, ballot voting or other civic processes. This includes posting or sharing content that may suppress participation or mislead people about when, where, or how to participate in a civic process or mislead people about the outcomes of such process or cause them to mistakenly believe in affiliations that do not exist etc.
We believe that intellectual property in all forms shall be respected and protected. Users shall not post content that in any manner infringes the patent, trademark (using another entity’s logo without permission, in a manner that may mislead or confuse people about your affiliation etc.), copyright (including text, images, music, videos, audio etc.), trade secrets and any other proprietary rights of another person, place or thing possessing such rights.
All users are subject to these guidelines. We reserve the right to limit the visibility of particular content or remove it entirely depending on the severity of the infringement of the aforementioned guidelines. Repeated or serious offences may result in ban from our website, either temporarily or permanently. If you believe a particular content was removed or any action taken on your account “was made in error”, you can mail a request to appeal at info@iyoung.in.
